REFORM BC WILL NOT CONDUCT AGM IN FEBRUARY
Friday, January 19, 2001
Prince George – The president of Reform BC has been notified not to continue on with the scheduled AGM in February. However, the Unity convention will continue to proceed as planned.
Bob Zayonc, President of Reform BC, said, "The Board has unanimously agreed not to conduct the Reform AGM in February."
Zayonc hopes that the board will continue to remain united in its attempt to prepare for the upcoming provincial election.
Some members have expressed misgivings regarding the AGM. A key issue arose of whether or not the membership was given proper sixty days notice. Zayonc states that the mailing was sent out on December 27, 2001, exactly sixty days before the proposed AGM.
