000 Reform Party of BC Press Releases

PRESS RELEASE

June 6, 2003

There is no doubt in my mind, and I'm sure in the mind of many, that the swinging of the pendulum back and forth is controlled by government and media, not the people. Glen Robbins Surveys clearly show that government is not in sync with the populace.

Commentary:

Premier Campbell and the BC Liberals are beginning to look like Corporate Raiders of the 1980’s. British Columbians are not happy with the government selling its Assets. The Coquihalla sale (lease) is the straw that has broken the proverbial camels back in the interior of the province.

The BC Liberals should reconsider this ‘transplant’ in the so-called heartland, because it is going to hurt them in 2005.

MLA Rick Thorpe has done much to help the BC Liberals, and his riding reveals the highest BC Liberal support. However along with the Deputy Speaker John Weisbeck declaring their intention to retire, and the political suicide the BC Liberals are committing with the Coquihalla debacle (particularly when Olympic support up here is nothing to right home about), Reform BC and the NDP have shots at these seats in 2005

Sincerely,
Glen P. Robbins
