Conservatives Shut Out Near Win For CA 132 to 137

For immediate Release

Three Conservatives, Joe Clark, Scott Brison and Rick Borostik blew a great opportunity to support their Canadian Alliance ally in their bid to punish Prime Minister Jean Chrétien and the rest of the Liberal Party on their reneging of the June 8, 1999 vote in preserving the definition of “marriage” as the union of a man and a woman.

Had those three voted to support the CA instead of voting against it the CA would have won the day 135 to 134. We wanted to find out, on this closely and divided issue, who were the MPs representing, their constituents or themselves.

Coquitlam-Part A: A survey of 210 respondents (70 each) between September
17 and 22, 2003 in three Federal Progressive Conservative Constituencies Namely Calgary Centre (Joe Clark), Kings-Hants (Scott Brison) and Brandis Souris (Rick Borostik) were asked the following.

PART A

Question #1
Do you agree or disagree with same sex marriage?

Agree-38
Disagree-57
Undecided-05

Question #2
In your opinion is homosexual behaviour including sodomy, normal?

Yes 05%
No 74%

Whether the actions of the three Progressive Conservative members was a consequence of behind the scene merger talks, or simply individual political self-interest, these Members of Parliament were negligent in not reflecting constituents viewpoints in their voting.

If there is any substance to what media are saying about a possible merger between the Conservatives and Canadian Alliance it would be good thing.
It would not only help to end Liberalism, but end Joe Clark who would retire hopefully forever. Perhaps the other so-called Conservatives that voted their personal view on homosexual marriage will join some other party.

Jim McNulty of the Vancouver Sun stated that whatever Vic “Toews was talking about regarding Svend Robinson's private member's Bill C-250, the hate-crime amendment, his Lower Mainland Alliance colleague James Moore isn't buying. The enlightened Moore missed the vote but later told a reporter that "homophobia is a problem in our society and I think small steps like Bill C-250 may address that in the future."

In Part B a survey of 150 respondents in Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam-Mallairdville (James Moore MP) were asked the following.

PART B

Question #1
Has your Member of Parliament James Moore contacted you, or provided you with Notice including using the local newspapers, to solicit your opinion on homosexual (same sex) marriages?

Yes-zero
No-150

Question #2
Has your Member of Parliament James Moore contacted you, or provided you with Notice including using the local newspapers, to solicit your opinion on special criminal laws for gay persons?
Yes-zero
No-150

Question #3
If your MP James Moore had asked you your opinion on special laws in the Criminal Code to specifically protect gays and lesbians what would you say?

a. We should have special laws under the Criminal Code of Canada to protect gays and lesbians 17%
b. We do not need to have special laws under the Criminal Code of Canada to protect gays and lesbians 83%

Mr. Moore could not have consulted with the voters in his riding, or if he did, he did not do a very competent job. Mr. Moore has conducted himself like one would expect other parties to behave.

Commentary:

Currently, Psychologically speaking, marriage between a man and a woman is normal. On the other hand, marriage between two men or two women is considered non normative. Homosexuals, particularly males have a history of rampant promiscuity. If homosexual marriages or civil unions are legitimized government and the taxpayers could become legally liable for any lawsuits on contracting the Aids virus or other associated diseases. The possibility looms because of homosexual education now being taught in some BC schools in Surrey which are teaching technical aspects of sexual intercourse to children in kindergarten and grades 1, 2 and 3 as well as discussing oral and anal sex with children in grades 6 7 and 8. Most would agree “that’s sick”.

Part A features an error rate of 3.5% 19 times out of 20 at 98% competency. Part B features an error rate of 1.5% 19 times out of 20 at 99% competency.
