Former Honorable Premier
Mr. Bill Vander Zalm no longer supports
the purposes of Reform BC, and his motion
at a meeting on February 10th, 2001 held
in Aldergrove, proposed “a motion
to deregister the Reform Party and seek
by way of a vote the support for the decision
from Reform Members present at the Convention
in Kamloops in February.” A meeting
that did not have a quorum of voting members.
It is with sadness that
as a former Honorable Premier, he will
be purported as one responsible for the
destruction of two political parties.
As for Welsh,Zayonc and
Hall who supported his motion to deregister
and not run Reform candidates in the next
Provincial Election, are also seen , by
their actions, to not support the purposes
of Reform BC “PURPOSES 2.1 To operate
as a political party within the Province
of British Columbia.” and as such,
as well as Mr. Vander Zalm, are no longer
deemed by Reform Bylaws (1.1) to be a
Member of Reform BC.
The majority Board of Reform
Party Of British Columbia will not be
joining the Unity Party
Continuing
with Reform BC
